Agnes Location
The Johnstone Supply store on Agnes in Corpus Christi was the original location for the JS South Texas group. Founded in 1947 as South Texas Refrigeration, it changed ownership soon after and was formally Incorporated in 1958 as Airtrol Supply, Inc. It was one of the original hvac/r wholesale distributors in town and the only remaining one under family (not corporate) ownership. Joining the Johnstone Supply Cooperative in 1984, the store continues its tradition of outstanding support to its contractor and service technician base.

South Padre Island Location
As Corpus Christi expanded south, the original location was no longer satisfactory to take care of the service trade working more frequently in that direction. With an eye toward the development on North Padre Island and the South Side of Corpus Christi, the 4th location of Johnstone Supply was established in a former skating rink.
